Creamy Peanut Butter Mousse

This vitamin E-packed, nutrient-rich delicious creamy peanut buttery mousse is a dessert you can dig your spoon right into and feel good about eating. Creamy Peanut Butter Mousse dessert recipe takes ten minutes to make and will not fail to impress for an every day treat, holidays, or birthdays!

Serves 4 to 6

2 (15-ounce) cans organic full-fat coconut milk, refrigerated for 24 hours

4 to 6 tablespoons maple syrup, or liquid sweetener of choice

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

6 tablespoons organic creamy or crunchy peanut butter

Dash of Himalayan pink rock salt (if peanut butter is unsalted)

Organic vegan peanut butter cups, optional

Organic vegan peanut butter chips, optional

Scoop out coconut cream from the cans and discard water, or save for later to use in smoothies.

In a large bowl, whip together the cream, syrup, vanilla, peanut butter, and salt until completely incorporated.

Portion mousse into dessert glasses, bowls, or however you want to enjoy this creamy deliciousness. Top with peanut butter cups and peanut butter chips, if desired. Totally optional but totally recommended!

If you don’t want to enjoy this mousse right away, it is also very good when chilled. It keeps well the fridge for several days.


  • Show your child how the coconut cream separates from the coconut water in the can.
  • Let your child mix the coconut cream with the peanut butter, add maple syrup, and adjust sweetness to their liking.
  • Let them add the peanut butter cups and chips to their serving.
