The Veggie Shake Smoothie Recipes

Kale is loaded with fiber and nutrients like potassium, vitamin C, and vitamin B6 that support the heart, and when blended in shakes it’s easily digested. The natural sweetness of the grapes and banana help disguise the sometimes bitter taste kale can have.

Serves 1-1/2 cup kale

1 avocado

1/4 cup red grapes

1 fresh or frozen banana

1 cup water, coconut water, or almond milk

Ice, as desired

Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.


  • Have your child rinse off any fruit and veggies that need cleaning.
  • Have them help you get all ingredients into the blender.
  • Let your child pick out their favorite cup with a straw!
